this poem's for you: Oak Tree His hands sticking out, Like that of a very old man. Even when age is catching up. A head of dyed-green bushy hair, Is still revealed. A bark of wrinkled skin is revealed. In the mid-day, It casts a shadow of that of a child. At night, when the moon rises, Its shadow is menacing, Like that of a monster. Swaying one way to another. It is getting ready to pounce on its prey. The wrinkled skin suddenly disappears, And now the hands look ready,To grab its prey. |
